Drumz Announces Online Drumming Schedule
D
RUMZ, Austin’s original drumming
center, has announced its fall schedule, includ- ing nightly Zoom classes in djembe, djundun and krin. T e new schedule is available online. Conducting classes
on Zoom is the new reality with the COVID-19 pandemic. Sherry Gingras, owner, says, “It isn’t the same as our wonderful in-person classes at DRUMZ on Kerbey Lane, but it is still a viable alternative for an exciting drummer’s path. We can all still learn, grow and develop as drummers and have great fun with others on the screen as well.” Drumming has been used for eons by indigenous cultures
as a means of connecting to one’s own brilliant and powerful cre- ative spirit as well as providing a pathway to a deeper connection to others and to nature and all the natural rhythms that govern our Universe.
Location: 3700 1/2 Kerbey Lane, Austin. Currently available by appointment only. Call or text Sherry Gingras at 512-791-9516 or email

I am a student golfer, and I came to ATX Hyperbarics with a concussion. After just 20 sessions, my next two golf rounds were a 65 and a 61, a new women’s course record at UT Golf Club! I am hitting 10-15 yards longer with each club, and increased my clubhead speed from 90 to 95 mph.
