Easy Conservation Projects


The 2 Minute Beach Clean is a quick and easy initiative to help keep our beaches clean of plastic and other unnecessary debris as well as an opportunity to improve the surroundings of your community. From Saturday 25th July to Sunday 2nd you can join this year’s Sea Watch National Whale and Dolphin Watch by choosing a safe coastal spot and observing/recording any cetacean sightings. The Big Butterfly Count is a UK wide survey to assess the health of our environment by counting the amount and type of butterflies and day-flying moths which runs until Sunday 9th August. A great family activity, all you need is a 15 minute period either in your garden or out-and-about and your responses can be logged on the mobile app. https://bigbutterflycount.butterfly-conservation.org/

At Home
