In just terms of functionality, the gulf between rummage4property and the other portals (including those readying for launch that we've been able to assess) is massive and widening every day.We are very privileged to witness new developments before they are released.
We are constantly in awe at what is being put together by this formidably creative team for the benefit of all estate agents and the house-hunting general public. This is what happens when a project is led by an estate agent of long-standing and who actually understands the industry and its needs inside and out.
While the current No.1 portal seeks to add gimmicky tools like estimating the cost of an extension to your property, one that has so many disclaimers there's little point in using it, rummage4property is busy adding features the market leader can only dream about. Let's take a look here at the latest developments.
Go to
www.rummage4property.co.uk and start your property search centred on Brighouse, the results are shown in the graphic (right). Each Pin represents an individual property.
Simply click on any pin for full details of that property. You may be curious about properties that fit your budget/specific needs in neighbouring areas. No reason to discount them, it
only takes a few seconds to take a look and do another search. 'Grab' the map and move it towards Halifax. Click the re-fresh icon, the results are shown in the graphic (left)
What you'll notice is that the search results appears in a new tab which opens automatically with each new search. What this means is you can keep multiple searches open and active at the same time. Flick between the tabs to go back and forth between current searches. Maybe take a look at Sowerby Bridge? It's not that far away, what do you have to lose? Once again, 'grab' the map and move it towards Sowerby Bridge, click the re-fresh icon and the results will look like the graphic (right).
Note that you can filter the available properties in any area by selling agent. Do this for Ryder & Dutton and the results appear in their own window shown in the graphic (right).
Note the Call icon so you can talk to the agent very quickly and the icon linking you direct to Ryder & Dutton's own website (as before, opens in a new tab).
This is smartsearch in action and, in time, every house hunter will be using it for
their property search. These same people, who are selling their own home, will be sure to demand it from their selling agent in order to help others find their home.
