This year has become a very difficult one for the majority of businesses and the hope is, as we move into the latter part of it, that we will be facing better prospects as the COVID-19 crisis is brought under control.


What better way to spur us on than to celebrate the successes achieved by businesses before all this happened. Accordingly, our Awards programme, to celebrate those achievements, has been revised to run the events in the final part of the year.


Additionally, at the time of going to press, The Business Magazine was evaluating various options for our programme of events, including virtual, rather than physical, awards ceremonies. More on this will be published on our website in due course.

This extremely popular event – attended by over 650 guests – is a testament to the vibrancy of the property sector in the Thames Valley and the wealth of professional talent among the agents, developers, planners, consultants, property lawyers and dealmakers who work in the region.

The Thames Valley is often referred to as the UK’s Silicon Valley, technology having been a significant part of the region’s economy for some 20 years or more. The M4 corridor is home to key international tech companies as well as many scale-ups and start-ups in the tech field. The Tech Awards, currently in its third year, attracts around 370 guests.

SOUTH COAST TECH AWARDS


2020


The first ever South Coast Tech Awards proved a highly popular platform to recognise the region’s outstanding tech businesses. Over 200 guests attended the event at the Hilton at the Ageas Bowl for an evening of celebration.
