On the edge of the northern extremes of the Peak District, Saddleworth Golf Club in Lancashire is an 18-hole, par 71, 6196 yards parkland/ moorland course. Close to the Pennine Way, the course occupies the northern and eastern slopes of Wharmton Hill and, from its vantage point 1000 feet above sea level, overlooks the villages of Saddleworth, Dobcross, Greenfield and Uppermill.
