Students explore time, space, shapes, dynamics, and relationships in dance while finding your own voice as a storyteller. Rising choreographers get a chance to learn the fundamentals needed to create their own work, building a range of skills across jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop.

Come join the electrifying dance craze known as “Burn The Floor” in this ballroom and Latin dance masterclass camp! Dancers will learn how to both lead and follow as we also dive into cha cha, salsa, tango, foxtrot, rhumba, waltz, merengue, East Coast Swing, Texas two-step, disco hustle, and more.


Radio Plays: You’re on the Air! at Vermont Public Radio


AGES 11-16 with Jon Gailmor July 27-31 / 8:30 am-3 pm $350 VPR Studios in Colchester


Re-create a classic radio play—like The Great Gildersleeve; Philip Marlowe, Detective; The Shadow; or The Jack Benny Comedy Hour—then compose and perform an original from scratch (made-up commercials included) at VPR studios. Along the way, students learn the history of radio, techniques for creating sound effects, and the process for writing an original script.

The magic of Shakespeare’s The Tempest comes to life on the Lois McClure schooner! Students practice acting techniques and stage presence while gaining an understanding of Shakespeare’s language and major artistic concepts. At the end of the week, students perform the magical, maniacal, and action-packed shipwreck story!

For musical theater fans, and students of our year-long Show Choir program who just can’t get enough, we are excited to introduce our Show Choir Camp! Learn high-energy movements and tight vocal harmonies as you perform well-known songs and iconic characters from the Broadway canon. Past selections include works from Next to Normal, Wicked, Spring Awakening, Sweeney Todd, American Idiot, and many other hot shows—not to mention renditions of pop music by the likes of Queen, Lady Gaga, and more!
