ANTUAN BYERS Calloway + Jerry Cochran Scholarship, Point Park University Summer Study Scholarship


Antuan Byers is a professional dancer, digital content creator, and model living in NYC and working around the world. He has cultivated artistic partnerships with brands such as Barney’s NY, Beat’s by Dr. Dre, and Jaguar, and is the face of several international campaigns, including ASICS and Capezio. After two seasons touring internationally with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater’s second company, Ailey II, he is currently dancing with the Metropolitan Opera Ballet at Lincoln Center performing in several productions including Macbeth, choreographed by Sue Lefton, Der Rosenkavalier, choreographed by Philippe Giraudeau, Orfeo Ed Euridice, choreographed by Mark Morris, and La Traviata, choreographed by Lorin Latarro. Madison received her BFA from The Juilliard School in May 2018. She will receive her MFA in Choreography in 2021 from California Institute of the Arts. In summer 2020, she will be one of the resident choreographers for The Juilliard School Summer Intensive. She is a freelance teacher, choreographer, and performer. She was a full time company member with LA Dance Project under the direction of Benjamin Millepied for the 2018/2019 season. In Fall 2019, she had one choreographic work showcased at Palm Desert Choreography Festival and another at the Theorists Festival. She is a resident choreographer for The Windward School. Madison is currently a faculty member for Icon Dance Awards, California School of the Arts, Project 21 and is also a faculty member and choreographer for Joffrey Southwest. Madison has created and is the director of Moving Forward Dallas, an innovative dance intensive and Non-Profit Organization for young artists.

Maddison is currently in her first season in the Corps de Ballet at Miami City Ballet. She just finished her first run of George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, and is about to perform in Jerome Robbins’ I’m Old Fashioned. Future


ballets she will have the opportunity to perform this season are George Balanchine’s Firebird and Petipa’s Don Quixote.

MELISSA MCCANN Point Park University Summer Study Scholarship, Buster Cooper Jazz Scholarship


Melissa’s busy 2019 started in Sydney, Australia as Associate Choreographer of West Side Story, produced by Opera Australia. After, she filmed a dance scene in Episode 1 of the third season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Catch her in the lilac dress in the last dance scene of the episode at a holiday party! In the summer Melissa performed in Jerome Robbins Broadway at Theatre Under the Stars in Houston, then headed to New York City to play the role of the Bride in Bridesmaids premiering at Dixon Place. See her in one night only concert February 12, 2020 at Symphony Space in NYC. Melissa also had the opportunity to dance with Jennifer Lopez and Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show which aired in September.

Matt is dancing and teaching outreach for Bruce Wood Dance. He is exploring and discovering his new home in Dallas and also working at GameStop and buying way too many games!

OLIVIA REHRMAN Charles Andrew Kulp Scholarship


Olivia Rehrman graduated from The University of Arizona in 2012 with a BFA in dance. In 2009, Olivia was a featured dancer in the HBO® series, Masterclass, with Emmy-nominated choreographer Bill T. Jones. She was the recipient of the prestigious National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts Award for jazz and dance and was selected as Dance Spirit Magazine’s March 2011 featured Dancer to Watch. Rehrman choreographed and performed in Paul Cauthen’s music video, Saddle, which was named in the Top 10 Country Music Video by Rolling Stone Magazine. She was a company member of the world-renowned jazz company, River North Dance Chicago, for four seasons. She has performed in works by Bruce Wood,® Yin Yue, Katarzyna Skarpetowska, Bridget L. Moore, Kimi Nikaidoh, Joy Bollinger, and Albert Drake III. Rehrman teaches dance at Tuzer Dance Center. Rehrman joined Bruce Wood Dance in September 2016.


McKinley Willis currently resides in Dallas, Texas where she is in her 5th Season with Dallas Black Dance Theatre. As a member of the company she has been able to travel both nationally and internationally performing works by Christopher Huggins, Twyla Tharp, Juel D. Lane, Michelle Gibson, Bruce Wood and many more. In the past year, McKinley has developed The Artist Expedition which is a guided improv jam for all art mediums, including (but not limited to) dance, music, visual arts, photography, videography, and poetry to give artists a space to create freely and in the company of other artists, and to have a creative outlet for herself! RAYLEIGH VENDT Denton City Contemporary Ballet Scholarship Rayleigh Vendt is currently a corps de ballet member with the Oklahoma City Ballet (OKCB) under


the artistic direction of Robert Mills. This is her fifth year with the company and has performed roles such as The Russian Girl in George Balanchine’s Serenade, The Kissing Girl in Agnes De Mille’s Rodeo, and


featured in Helen Pickett’s Petal. She recently performed in Micheal Pink’s Dracula and is looking forward to the rest of her season with OKCB.

STEPHANIE RAE WILLIAMS South Dallas Dance Festival Scholarship,


Stephanie Rae Williams is currently in her tenth season with the Dance Theatre of Harlem and has performed with The Francesca Harper Project, ARC Dance Seattle, Complexions Contemporary Dance Company, Ballet Black, and Texas Ballet Theatre, where she made her professional debut. This year will be dancing works that include Jose Limon’s Chaconne, Stanton Welch’s Orange, and a collaboration with New York City Ballet and Pam Tanowitz named Gustave Le Gray No. 1. Stephanie has started working with the next generation of dancers as a guest teacher.
