I hope you had a lovely Christmas. A tractor run plays a huge part of Christmas festivities local to The Vintage Scene office. 103 tractors turned out, decked in dazzling Christmas

lights, and travelled the Banburyshire roads on a dark rainy December evening. The streets were lined with spectators who dug deep into their pockets helping the organisers, RC Baker Ltd, to raise over a staggering £10k for The Katherine House Hospice. If you would like to take part with your tractor in December 2020 visit www.rcbaker.co.uk/tractorrun. The constant downpours have sadly put paid to most of the recently planned ploughing matches across the whole Country. We did attend the Banbury & District Vintage Club match at Middle Aston and have included a report in this issue on page 12. Brother Charlie and nephew Nathan both took part, with Nathan taking home the Junior Competitor trophy. We are keen to encourage youngsters into this sport and would love to publish success stories and father son stories. In this issue we have included our 2020 Year Planner. It is a pull out

from the centre pages. A handy size, in two parts which can be easily flipped over aſter the completion of the first six months of 2020. We hope you are enjoying The Vintage Scene. We welcome any suggestions, criticism etc so that we can ensure delivery of a quality magazine to your complete satisfaction. We have been overwhelmed by all the support we have received so far in this ‘start up’ phase of the magazine - a massive THANK YOU! See you in March.
