Diverse Marine is pleased to announce that it has been assessed and certified as meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 with the British Assessment Bureau.
Demonstrating Diverse Marine’s commitment to being at the forefront of developments in the workboat industry, the management system covers the provision of boat design, construction, engineering, outfit and refit, including consultancy services for workboats, defence and leisure craft for the UK and global market.
Diverse Marine will continue to ensure processes and systems are adapted and improved to meet the highest quality system standards, improving not only the management of internal processes, but also ensuring customer focus and delivery of customer excellence.

Frigomar BLDC Variable Speed Inverter Drive Air Conditioning voted BMEEA
Product of the Year Frigomar’s new BLDC Variable Speed Inverter Drive air conditioning has been named Product of the Year 2019 at the annual British Marine Electrical & Electronics Association Conference.
Frigomar BLDC is not just a modification or enhancement to something that already exists; it is entirely new and ground breaking technology. Up until now, the traditional compressor in an air conditioning system needs a large amount of electrical energy each time a cooling cycle starts. Not only is this power hungry, it
is also noisy. Frigomar air con is 50% more energy efficient and silent; it starts at a very slow speed with no peak current and as the room approaches temperature, it slows down, ensuring a constant, comfortable climate on board.
Not only will it revolutionise the world of boat building; in particular the consideration of power when specifying generator size, it makes it possible for vessels without a generator to run air conditioning silently from just a small inverter. In ECO mode these units draw no more than 200W, removing the need to run a generator and ensuring peace and quiet overnight.

In addition to this certification, Diverse Marine will be undertaking Stage 2 audits for ISO 14001 Environmental Management and ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety early in 2020.
