is the largest charity that saves lives at sea around the coasts of the United Kingdom. And thanks to the generosity of two local families in particular, two extra lifeboats are based off the Welsh Coast (p22).
Anyone who is a pet owner naturally wants the very best for their animals. We meet with our local Husse representative Jenny Wheale, who explains why she firmly believes their products should play a part in every pet’s life (p18). We also talk to Steve Rollings, Managing Director of Firmcare Mobility, who is showcasing daily living aids to make life easier (p28). Congratulations to Polly and her team at Celina’s Hair & Beauty Salon who have reached their 10 Year milestone (p32). Walsall Society of Artists are celebrating an impressive 70 years in existence with their annual exhibition at the New Art Gallery and are also looking to the future with their launch of an art competition for interested young people (p14).
As usual in our Christmas editions, we have plenty of local seasonal information. Get into the Christmas spirit with a visit to one of the many local fayres, bazaars, and concerts, which we’ve pulled together in one place to make them easier to find, along with details of church services (p12). And if you fancy some interactive fun, why not make your own wreath, table decoration or bottle of mead at one of the Christmas workshops at Oakdene Nurseries (p25)?
