Framlingham St John Ambulance


THE Badgers have returned to their meetings after their summer holidays and have begun work on their Caring and First Aid Badger. As part of their Caring Badger we have looked at pet care and have made human-grade dog biscuits, which on tasting were not particularly to our taste, but our dogs liked them! We have refreshed our recovery position skills and took part in a keep fit evening as part of caring for our welfare. We have also planted bulbs for our Christmas Sale on November 30th.

Volunteering with St John Ambulance means you can be the difference between a life lost and a life saved, whether it’s by helping a member of your family, a neighbour or someone visiting this beautiful part of Suffolk. too young to learn first aid. Our Badgers in Framlingham, who are all local children aged seven to 10 years old, are now working towards their First Aid Badger and Caring Badger. First aid tips. When large


crowds gather for public events there needs to be first aid cover to ensure the safety and wellbeing of those attending. Our volunteers are trained in advanced first aid and life saving skills and attend many events each year. In the event of an accident or illness occurring, our volunteers' skills are vital in preventing further harm and saving lives.


They provide


essential support until the emergency services arrive. We’d like to remind organisers of events that the more notice


you can give, the more likely we’ll be able to provide the necessary first aid cover. At least six weeks’ notice is preferred. For further details call 01473 241500.


Please note, with an increasing number of requests, it may not always be possible to provide the first aid cover as requested. First aid training.
