Attend ASCA’s Two Final 2019 Webinars The last two webinars in ASCA’s 2019 series will examine recent changes in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) ASC quality report- ing program and the impact of Medi- care’s final 2020 ASC payment rule. On November 19, Gina Throne-

berry, ASCA’s director of education and clinical affairs, and Donna Slosburg, former executive director of the ASC Quality Collaboration, will lead “CMS Quality Reporting for ASCs.” They will discuss the quality measures that must be reported in 2020, review key definitions, answer frequently asked questions about the current measures and look ahead to new measures and changes being considered for the future. ASCA’s director of Government

Affairs and regulatory counsel Kara Newbury will present “Understand- ing Medicare’s 2020 Final Payment Rule” on December 3. She will explain how ASC payment rates will change in 2020 and whether new procedures were added to the final list of those eligible to be performed on Medicare patients in the ASC setting.
