This Christmas follow the rags to riches tale where dreams come true with a special invitation to the Ball. Cinderella is doomed to live un-happily ever after with her two horrible Ugly Sisters, but she manages with the help of her ‘silly’ friend Buttons and a ‘magical’ Fairy Godmother to make all her dreams come true!

Our Relaxed Performances are designed to create an enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere for anyone who would benefit from a more laid-back experience at the theatre.
During the show subtle changes are made to the sound and lighting effects and the auditorium lights remain on. Audience members are also free to leave the auditorium at any point during the show if they need to take a break from the action.
We have also been supported by the Access Fylde Coast team and will be supporting out relaxed screening of Cinderella with a signer.

“ Peter Pan

Internationally renowned producer Martin Dodd for UK Productions will be presenting the J M Barrie classic, Peter Pan at Blackpool’s Grand Theatre this year. The Grand Theatre has announced star of TV and West End stage Tom Lister (Carl King, Emmerdale, West End 42nd Street) will reprise his role as Captain Hook in this year’s spectacular production.
Tom has appeared in such television series as Heartbeat, Doctors and The Bill. In February 2004 he got his big break when he debuted on the British soap opera Emmerdale playing Carl King a role which he maintained until his departure from the series in 2012, when his character was murdered on the 40th Anniversary live episode.
He first performed at Blackpool’s
Grand Theatre in 2013/14, appearing as Captain Hook, alongside BBC Lancashire Radio presenters Steve Royle and Hayley Kay, and BBC The Voice Jordan Lee Davies.

Joining Tom is BBC Lancashire radio legend, Steve Royle who will play Smee. This will be Steve’s 17th year in pantomime at Blackpool’s Grand. Steve was named a Friend of The Grand patron in 2015.
