“I THINK IT’S A NICE WAY OF
ADDING LIFE AND BRINGING NATURE CLOSER TO HOME.”
worked hard simultaneously with my studies and sacrificed profits to make sure that the result, always was uncompromised, and through passion and determination the company OMEO design took form.
2. How would you describe your signature touch and your work ethos? For me, the world consists of colours, textures and patterns. I pay significant attention to all three of those aspects and I find it extremely important that everything finds a connection. My signature touch can be felt through my natural colour palette with high contrast and a strong unpredictable accent colours and materials. I don’t use any specific brands. I create a mixture of OMEO’s bespoke furniture and decoration items from different brands all over the world. I always seek for unique design elements with high quality. I recently realized that I actually have included animals in
different forms somewhere in all of my projects so far. It can be anything from a big rhino scull sculpture, to salt and pepper shakers that resemble animal. I think it’s a nice way of adding life and bringing nature closer to home. I’m a big animal friend and activist so I don’t use actual animals, just manmade things as a celebration to them. I believe that if you do things with passion, positivity and punctually you will succeed. I don’t think that there are any shortcuts to achieve an elevated finish. An OMEO finish always comes from hard work and determination fuelled with positivity and passion to achieve the final result with that welcoming ambience for each space that I’m aiming for.
3. Where do you find inspiration for your designs? For the general flow and colour scheme I usually find inspiration from the surrounding nature and views of each specific project. I Select colours and materials that highlight the surrounding beauty and bring it in to that home. I also seek inspiration from different cultures and the flora and fauna as well as local and known artists from that culture.
4. What has been your most memorable design project? For me, the one at hand is always the most important one! I love each of the projects equally, and all of them have a good mix of highlights, funny stories and challenging obstacles. I cherish and value deeply each and every project I’ve had the honour of turning into someone’s home
