What is a neurological physiotherapist or neuro physio? A neurological physiotherapist has the specialist skills to help people with neurological conditions. All our physiotherapists specialise in the treatment of neurological disorders that affect the brain or spinal cord such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s Disease.


What do neuro physios do? We use specific exercise programmes, “hands on” techniques and the latest technologies in our treatments. We frequently work on mobility, hand and arm movement, balance and co-ordination, stiffness and tightness. Our aim is to help people achieve their maximum level of fitness, function and quality of life.


Are you available in my area? We now have highly experienced physiotherapists who are able provide home visits in and around Murrayfield and Corstorphine.


Do you treat children or adults? Both! We have children’s and adult’s specialists. We also work with older people with more general problems to improve mobility and prevent falls.
