Purchasing a new build is known to be an intimidating area to begin looking into, but once involved in the building process, the building teams make it simple to understand and build what you want. Finding the right build or the right

design to suit a family’s needs and wants is the first big step one must take when deciding to build a home, which is where show homes help prospective buyers physically see the builder’s styles and can look through other designs they offer. “Visiting show homes give you a good

idea of what is available and what is possible,” says Bridget Mearns, BILD Lethbridge Region Executive Officer. “It gets the creative conversation going and allows you to get to know the builders as well as their team which is important. When you buy a house from a builder you will work closely with that team throughout the build.” Visiting show homes allows people to

ideas for how they want their future home to look and feel. When visiting a show home, people are welcomed by a knowledgeable builder representative who can answer any questions people have, as well as have a catalogue of designs, inspirations and blueprints. Figuring out what area of town to build a

home in is another big decision. In almost all of the new developing areas throughout Lethbridge including Blackwolf, Southbrook, Legacy Ridge, Copperwood, The Crossings, Country Meadows, Garry Station and Garry Station West, there are open show homes for people to get a good feed towards what the neighbourhood is like. “One of the first things that people want

to do when they are looking to build a home is see what designs are already out

there,” says Mearns. “It is important that people go and take a look at a variety of how homes, and also understand what is in the neighborhood in terms of amenities. Location is important as the right neighbourhood will depend on your life stage and needs. The ideal community is a personal thing and varies person to person.” While the annual BILD Lethbridge

Region Parade of Homes finishes September 22nd for another year, there are still of plenty show homes open for people to preview a large selection and style of homes. Show home sales consultants are experts and make it easy to get answers to your questions, without making an appointment.
