Attend ASCA’s September Webinars In September, ASCA will offer two webinars as a part of its 2019 Webi- nar Series. On Tuesday, September 10, at 1:00 pm ET, Roy Breitenbach, part- ner/director at Garfunkel Wild, will lead “When an Employee Requests Leave: Navigating the ADA and FMLA Requirements.” The webinar will offer a step-by-step guide on
leave or pregnancy and birth-related issues (see story on FMLA leave on page 34 of October 2014 issue of ASC Focus). Terry Bohlke, former president of
the ASCA Board and vice president of Ambulatory Surgery Centers at Com- munity Health Systems, will present “Maximizing Staff Productivity” on September 24 at 1:00 pm ET. Partici- pants will learn the secrets to control- ling productivity and improving their bottom line through proven techniques that go beyond old-school standards and benchmarking.
