League Bucks National Trend as Numbers Swell


The 2019/20 Cheltenham League season will kick-off with eight new teams when it gets underway in August, bucking a national trend which has seen a decline in numbers in recent years.


One team who will not be taking part are Andoversford 1st XI. Last year’s Division 1 champions were promoted to the Gloucestershire Northern Senior League (GNSL) Division 2. They will be hoping to emulate the 2018 champions, Cheltenham Civil Service, who achieved back to back promotions and will compete in GNSL Division 1 this season.
