Steve Hudson and his wife Barbara were searching for a house enabling ease of movement for Steve’s wheelchair. Eventually, the couple found a rural property for demolition to make room for a new, purpose-designed home. Barbara said: “We built a single storey property with extra wide doorways and rooms large enough for a wheelchair to move around. Aesthetically, we wanted to make the most of the views from each room.
