THE Kent County Showattracted almost 80,000 visitors this year – its 90th anniversary. Blessed with good weather, or-


ganisers said targets had beenmet – the show’s attendance was up 4,000 on 2018 to 78,000. Show manager Lucy Hegarty


said: “The show team have been planning this all year andwewere delighted that everyone who at- tended helped us celebrate this hugemilestone. “The atmosphere was fantastic,


and we were pleased that all our exhibitors, trade stands, displays andentertainment joinedtheparty and helpedmake this a really spe- cial showfor our 2019 visitors.” Management paid tribute to


sponsors,who includedQuinn Es- tates, Savills, MHA MacIntyre Hudson, and Wingham Wildlife Park. HRHTheDuke ofKent attended

cheered them for their superb horsemanship and they were the perfect entertainment for the light- hearted and friendly celebratory atmosphere. “They, along with all the trade


stands, displays and demonstra- tions helped make the 90th show verymemorable.”
