THE younger players from Woodbridge Rugby Club’s Youth Section, the Minis and their parents were out in force last Sunday 5th May at Woodbridge Rugby Club. As is
traditional this last
Sunday of the season was a fun-filled morning of Young Warriors and parents together running relay races with challenges along the way, kicking competitions and touch rugby games. Before retiring for the summer recess, all age groups celebrated player, coach and parent contributions during an awards ceremony rewarding the achievements of the boy and girl players. Cups and medals were awarded for individual and team achievements. Incoming Junior Chairman
Steve Wilding paid tribute to the hard-working coaches and supportive parents, he said, “We are now a big operation with so many boys and girls out each week and that only works smoothly and safely with huge commitment from all in our community helping out. I would particularly like to thank outgoing
Junior Chairman
Alex Brigginshaw who has grown the membership under solid leadership.” A contribution of £1,000 was also welcomed from the Fat Boys Club – a group that keeps fit in the Club’s gym and raises money for its Junior Section equipment.

YOU might not expect to
find an artisan chocolatier based here in the heart of Suffolk. However, Deepmills Chocolate,
a small family
run business, is just that. The business was part of Deepmills Coffee which was established in 2009. In 2012 Deepmills Chocolate was formed and the business has evolved and grown over the last seven years. Owned and run by Michelle Garnham, Deepmills Chocolate produces hand-crafted Belgian chocolate bars with a personal twist.
When the business started, the range included; white, milk, dark and extra dark chocolate. Fast-forward a few years and Michelle has developed and introduced many exciting new flavours. A quick browse of the website and you will find; salted honeycomb, cherries & roasted butter almonds, peppermint, Dutch
salted
coffee crunch, liquorice,
lime
& chilli, earl grey tea, lemon zest, Szechuan peppercorn & smoked sea salt, and gin & tonic to name a few! This year, Michelle has also introduced a ruby chocolate made from ruby cocoa bean which offers 100% natural flavouring and colour. It gives a subtle fruitiness.
Preparation, blending, tempering
and to pouring, that all
bars are hand-crafted in small batches wrapped
then individually give
extra
personal touch. The bars are made using the finest Belgian chocolate
from sustainable cocoa beans, this means the
cocoa farmers in West Africa are well supported with money re-invested
in training Chocolate and
community projects. You can order your delicious Deepmills
bars
