TO DO A LIVE OUTSIDE STADIUM GIG FOR MY TOUR IS JUST GOING TO BE UNBELIEVABLE.

I JUST CAN’T WAIT TO GET THERE AND DO THE SHOW

through things to see roughly what we can do, we have the new album, I’ve obviously got all the old songs from the last six albums so it’s going to be great. That’s the great thing about touring and the great thing about doing this is that anyone who’s a fan of my music or maybe isn’t always buying my music but likes me; the show is for them. It’s a fun show. It’s going to be a great time for me. I’m excited, because it’s 10 years since the X-Factor, so I want to make this a special tour for my fans. I want to make it really special for them, so I can’t wait to get out there.

Are there a couple of songs from your repertoire that you enjoy, and that get the best reactions from the crowds? I mean, ‘Dance with Me Tonight’ is always a crowd pleaser. I think it’s just something that people instantly recognise with me. Of course, Troublemaker as well, Heart Skips a Beat, Dear Darlin, Wrapped Up…It’s really hard to pick one, because all the songs have been big parts of my career. So, when you perform live –Dance With Me Tonight is probably the one when I sing it live it just gets a huge reaction. It’s like ‘wow this is something you don’t experience all the time’. It’s great.

Rak-Su are supporting, do you know the guys well? Yeah, I do actually. I got to know Ashley and Miles really well, who are in the group. They’ve got a really good future in music and they’re super talented as well and just nice people. I would never want to go on tour with a group or any artist that aren’t nice or that my fans wouldn’t get on with. Rak-Su are great lads and I’m really thankful that they’re doing it, and they’ll be brilliant for the show.

Gloucester Kingsholm Stadium is the last date of your arena tour, is it somewhere that you’re looking forward to? Yeah, of course. I can’t wait. It’s going to be amazing!

Any prior experience of the area at all? No, I think it’s the first time I’ve ever been down to that part of the country so I’m really excited to see the area and see what it’s like and the scenery! I’m really excited about it.

What can fans expect from the show? Well it’s going to be a fun night, because it’s the only stadium I’m doing this summer. I’ve done quite a few last year, but because of my work commitments I can only fit this in. It’s a massive stadium and we’re just almost sold out, which is amazing. So, to do a live outside stadium gig for my tour is just going to be unbelievable. I just can’t wait to get there and do the show.

With hit after hit, how do you go about choosing your set list? It’s a bit difficult. I’m happy to look at the set alone and just go

You’re voicing a character in 101 Dalmatians. How did that come around? Disney contacted my management and were interested in having me in it, I’m just super excited. It’s a great show to be apart of and I love acting, I love doing voice overs and impressions. It’s something I always wanted to do and it was just great that Disney thought of me and have given me this opportunity. I hope it opens other op- portunities up for me in the future. I really, really enjoyed the expe- rience.
