Hawkinge SpitfireS Club The club is for the over 55's and we meet once a month on the second Wednesday in Hawkinge Village Hall. We have a variety of speaker's, music afternoons and outings during the year. Visitors are welcome and the cost is £3.00 including tea and biscuits.

Coastwatch Open Day 11am to 4pm Sunday 30 June The Coastwatch Lookout, alongside Martello Tower No 3 on the Pitch and Putt course, will be holding its Annual Open Day on 30 June between 11am and 4pm. The public is invited to come along and meet the Watchkeepers, and enjoy a tour of the station, with tea and refreshments available. Dog biscuits also available for our canine friends. There is no charge, but we hope that visitors will be happy to make a small donation towards our valuable and vital work. This event is scheduled to coincide with Armed Forces Day when our prominent position provides an ideal viewpoint for the Red Arrows and other displays.
