is situated in the Old Fire Station, Queens Road, Lydd next to the Primary School and opposite the Doctor's surgery. Entrance is free although we do appreciate donations. Our displays are of items fromthe Romney Marsh area only. It will be open from 2.30 until 5pm for the May Bank Holidays - 4th, 5th and 6th also 24th, 25th and 26th. On May 6th only the Tower will be open when you can see right across the Marsh and watch the Herons and Egretts nesting in the trees opposite - an impressive sight. Themuseumwill be closed until July 21st when we will open daily from 2.30


until 5pm.


The Friends of Lydd meet monthly on the 3rd Wednesday evening of each month from 7.30pm in Hardy Hall, Skinner Road, Lydd TN29 9HW. On 15thMay our talk will be Food for Free and Herbs that Heal. The meeting is open to all and light refreshment is served after the speaker.


The Friends of Lydd meeting for June will be onWednesday 19th when Roy Jackson will be speaking on his time doing National Service. This meeting is open to members and non-members and light refreshments will be served after the speaker.
