WE’RE improving your experi- ence at Leiston Film Theatre! Our new foyer is coming along very nicely indeed and will pro- vide our venue with a lot more space and shorter queues, as pre- booked tickets will be collected from a separate counter. We very much appreciate

standing during these works – we really do have the best custom- ers! We have a host of great films on screen in the coming weeks, plus four live shows to look forward to. Raising funds for the Air Am- bulance, The Bootleg Shadows appear on Saturday 8th June at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced at £17.50 and are already selling well, as are tickets for The Mods and Rockers Show on Saturday 11th May at 7.30pm . Tickets are still available, priced £15, but are expected to sell out shortly. Neil Gore brings his one-man show, The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists, to our stage on Tuesday 7th May. Based on the famous book by Robert Tressell, it


features political conjuring,


music and songs echoing life in the building trades of Edwardian England. Tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £8 for conces- sions.


Britain’s Got Talent finalist Steve Hewlett is back along with his cast of crazy characters on Saturday 25th May.

Our big film for May is Rocket- man, the biographical musical/ drama about the uncensored hu- man story of Elton John's break- through years, starring Taron Egerton and showing on Friday 24th May. We are pleased to be screening The Australian Ballet’s, Sparta- cus (PG) on Wednesday 8th May at 7.30pm. . Tickets are priced at £14.95.
