As a seniors recreational facility our members’ social, physical and emotional wellbeing is paramount. This past winter our members enjoyed a variety of programs and activities. Keep Fit, Seated and Active Pound® 55+, Fitball and Zumba are just a few of the classes that help with their physicality.

For their emotional and physical needs members participate in classes like Chair, Stability and Gentle Yoga; Tai Chi for Health, Balance and Relaxation as well as Guided Meditation.

Social activities included outings to Walmart for shopping and coff ee, bus trips, the ever popular Monday Morning Jam Sessions as well as being able to spend time with teens and children through the inter-generational programs with Lethbridge Family Center, Park Meadows, and Wilson Middle School.

We are privileged to have outstanding local artists Donna Gallant, Denise Savard and Karina Mak giving instruction in water colour and acrylics fulfi lling their creative outlets.

Our members have requested exercise classes to continue throughout the summer with a combination Pound® 55+ being off ered along with Gentle Yoga and a combination Chair and Somatics Yoga class.

The Dunford Diner (open to the public Monday through Friday) is another popular social spot for

our members and their family and friends for coff ee, breakfast and lunch.
