ings, webinars and materials to ensure advocates are confident when deliver- ing their message. ASCA’s 2019 National Advocacy Day is September 24 in Washington,

DC. On that day, ASCA members and affiliates will gather on Capitol Hill and share their stories with policymak- ers. With more than 110 new members of Congress, participation is critical. Each meeting helps educate legisla- tors and their staff about what an ASC is and how it plays a role in America’s healthcare. Registration is open until August 30, 2019. For more information about advo-

Danielle Kaster is ASCA’s former assistant director of grassroots & political affairs.
