Industry News Comment W

elcome to the first print issue of Forest Bioenergy Review 2019. As I sit and review some of the excellent news and article submissions within this the issue and some very strong investments made by companies around the world, I get an email in my private

inbox. The message is from a local group based in my own town of Edenbridge and could I help to spread the word to my friends about a project they will be undertaking this August. Well I thought to myself why just limit this to my friends and why not share it with you the readers. This type of selfless activity deserves sharing wider and most will agree that this hands-on approach can truly make a difference and I would urge you to look at the information below and help in any way you feel fit. Keeping a family together, Edenbridge Moldova Build fundraising page. https:// www.give.net/EdenbridgeMoldova2019 Six individuals (4 under the age of 18

will be travelling to Moldova, the poorest country in Europe, to build an appropriate home for a family that desperately needs it. Temperatures in the country are extremely hot in the summer and extremely cold in the winter, a dangerous climate in which to live-in sub-standard accommodation. Having a habitable home is vital to every family., The home the team will build (pictured) will be constructed and paid for by

the team, most of whom have no building experience. It is designed to be of good quality despite our limited construction skills but we will receive the guidance needed on site. In helping this family, we hope to become transformed and to understand

first-hand how to make a positive difference in the world. Donating with give.net is easy and completely secure. If you are a UK taxpayer,

please confirm that you would like to reclaim Gift Aid on your donation. This will add 25p to every £1 you give. Thanks for visiting!
