Property Mail gets up and personnel with
Sarah O’Neil..... We sat and chatted and found out more about Property Mail’s newest Director.
What have you been doing up to now? I moved to Spain in 2002 and within a few weeks started working on an off plan residential development site in Casares. Tey were heady days with agents queuing outside the porta-cabin with their clients. I’m sure a lot of people reading this will relate to those times, and funnily enough I still know most of those guys. I’ve always worked in Real Estate on the coast. Predominantly in rentals, but always keeping an eye out for sales opportunities too. I actually was on my way back to the UK just over 2 years ago when a chance meeting with Shane Sprenger of Marbella Pads changed my mind. Tanks to Shane and the team I stayed and it looks like I’m here for good.

Why did you make the move and join the magazine? When I saw the UK version of the magazine I fell in love with it. I knew as an agent it was something that was missing here. Te magazine is passionate about their distribution and property features and it has proven to be a great way to showcase companies. I know what an exciting and unique company it is and I’m now in a very privileged position to choose who I work with. When the opportunity came up, it was something that I just couldn’t turn down.
Using your own experiences, what do you think Property Mail can do for businesses? Te magazine has only been running in Marbella for 7 months. Te positive comments and feedback from our advertisers is proof of the solid responses they are achieving. Tis of course is bringing new business but also a reminder for past clients to come back to you. In this digital age where everyone has an on-line presence, businesses find it difficult to stand out from the massive internet crowd. Te way the magazine is distributed, and the features within it means it has a massive pick up. It gets our advertisers shop windows directly in front of their target market, and more importantly ahead of their competitors. Having your business seen across the coast from Elviria to Sotogrande and now in Dubai is phenomenal exposure.
With readership of the magazine at an all time high in the UK, how do you see the magazine progressing in Marbella? Almost everyone I’ve spoken to in the last month has picked up the magazine, looked through it and said this is going to be big isn’t it???? It feels like a community of businesses growing together here. Might sound corny but we’ve only just got started....
