The I Wanna be Lighter club
THE club made a donation of £250 to The Rose & Sweet William club on June 14th 2018. £250 was also given to The leiston Dementia Project on November 5th 2018. Their
respective
representatives were at the United Reform church Hall in leiston to receive cheques on those dates. on october 11th 2018 it
was the 3rd anniversary of the club and they held a party to celebrate it. A cheque was sent to donate
£250 to The Air Ambulance on that day too. once again the wonderful
club members were able to hand over these gifts from their generosity. They raise the money each
week from their desire to lose a little weight, while
enjoying each others company. When they have enough for a presentation, they choose a local charity to support and present them with the money they have saved through their selfless dedication to losing a few pounds. They do not promote strict diets, but rather, choose whatever works best for themselves. They share each other's tips
and favourite recipes and have a light approach to dieting, whilst still trying to achieve their objective of reducing their weight from the previous week. The club is run by chris
Burrows with the help of others. It is a non profit making organisation and the £3 fee each week goes towards the cost of the hall and other expenses. £10 is awarded for the person who has lost the most weight in
natural healing
that week and the next highest weight loser gets a 'free week' the next week. If you cannot make it, then
you do not have to pay anything. We are a happy group and we
meet each Thursday between 4.30pm and 6.30pm at The United Reform church Hall in leiston If anyone is interested, you
are welcome to come along and join us. Gain £'s by losing pounds.
