Ascot’s first Family Raceday of 2019 is on Sunday 31st March and is free for under 18s, offering a thrilling combination of top-class racing and free countryside-themed activities for racegoers of all ages. There’s no better way to spend Mother’s Day this year, with mums in the King Edward VII Enclosure eating free in the Horsewalk Restaurant. Under 12s also eat free in the Bandstand Kitchen and Bar, when accompanied by an adult meal, where they can pick’n’mix five items to enjoy. Ascot’s final fixture of the 2018-19 Jumps season takes centre stage, with a mix of hurdles and chases for novices right through to veterans. Off the track, activities include willow den making, foraging, bird of prey and dog agility displays, ferret racing, pony rides, a petting zoo and kids can take part in Ascot’s ‘20 things to do before you are 12’ experience. Berzerk are still full of spirit for the New Year and all that it holds. With last term seeing The Snow Queen, Naughty Elves films, Snow Show and Christmas choir, they had many projects for young people to be a part of and enjoy. Our Careers with Animals workshops may be just the thing for those interested in science and animals. This workshop will run in collaboration with the Royal Veterinary College, London and will take place on Friday 21st and Thursday 27th June.
