years, and the ‘No Life Half Lived’ campaign is the latest iteration in a long line of the char- ity’s ever-evolving public health work. Born in 1899, CHSS was initially set up to combat the big killer in Scotland at the time - tu- berculosis, or ‘consumption’ as it was more commonly known then, which claimed 7,000 lives every year.
