Get your tickets now Preparations are now complete for the 2018 Awards
The BIFA Annual Awards luncheon ceremony is now only six weeks away, a great event to look forward to in the post-Christmas and New Year lull.
The hard work has been done: submissions written, finalists selected, judging completed, venue reserved, host booked, certificates and trophies ordered, and wines and menu chosen. Join us on Thursday 17 January to celebrate the outstanding work carried out on a day-to- day basis by the freight forwarding community, work that goes largely unnoticed by the general public.
Publicity generated by the Awards will enable
BIFA and individual companies to raise awareness of the skills and knowledge employed within the industry in their everyday efforts to
bring both essential and luxury items to our shores, and support UK manufacturing in the distribution of goods across the world.
Programme for the day: • Arrive for pre-luncheon drinks with your colleagues and guests,
• Acknowledge the finalists in each category, including rising stars of the industry in the Apprentice of the Year and Young Freight Forwarder of the Year Awards,
• Enjoy the three-course luncheon with wines in the historic Porter Tun Room at the Brewery, the 18th century headquarters of the Whitbread beer-making empire,
• Be inspired by the host for the afternoon, double Olympic gold medal winner Dame
Kelly Holmes,
• Celebrate as category winners are announced and make their way to the stage to collect the sponsors’ trophy,
• Round-off the afternoon networking with sponsors, finalists and winners.
