Obituaries Bill Burdock, a proud Newfoundlander, passed away June 25 at the age of 83. He started as a chemical company representa- tive and bought his first plant in 1972. This grew to several plants and 55 employees. He is survived by his partner Carol Leslie, children Ron and Diane, and two grand- children.
Bernard Speckhart, CEO of White Conveyors, passed away September 9. He spent a total of 64 years in the family business. He is survived by his wife Lor- raine, 7 children, 22 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
