Parish field The clerkwould book the annualmaintenance of the northern boundary and alsomaintenance of the western boundary. CllrManser asked that the eastern boundarywas looked at too. The play areaneeded aention in the corner and crown lifting of the trees to increase ground clearance. Cllr Doewas asked to submit aquotation for thework. Play equipment Cllr Gooch had submied thematch-funding application toMBC and awaited the response. The clerk had contacted three companies to plan and quote for the newequipment, but only one had submied aquote so far. Conditions of hire The clerk had contacted the insurance company for clarification on the barbecue and bouncy castle policy regarding hire of the parish field. Itwas confirmed that any hirer would have to take out their own public liability insurance and hire staff to operate the equipment. CllrWilson proposed ano bouncy castle policy,whichwas agreed.

was stolen in Bow er Street. Three vehicles parked on ahouse


drivewaywere broken into and cashwas stolen in London Road. A vehicle parked in Buckland Road,was


takenwithout consent. A housewas broken into in Langdale


Rise. A housewas broken into on two


occasions inWheeler Street. A red and white OrbeaGain electric


bicyclewas stolen togetherwith padlock and chain in Brew er Street. Damagewas caused to abonnet of a


vehicle in Coral Park. A vehicle parked in the road was broken


into in H ampton Road.AMakitadrill and aradio were stolen. A tyrewas deflated on aVauxhall Zafira


parked in acar park in Union Street. A black BMW3 2 0 coupewas keyed in a


residential car park in Coral Park. A VWGolf and Passatwere damaged in


the car park inWheeler Street. Someone threweggs at anAlfaRomeo


Giuliain acar park in Barker Road, Fant. A silver Giant bicyclewas stolen froma


driveway in Bower Lane, Fant. A roof rack and an extending ladder


were stolen fromavehicle in H eath G rove. AMercedes vehiclewas stolen fromthe roadside in StAndrew ’s Road.


CllrWilson proposed ano barbecue policy, whichwas also agreed. Pavilion Itwas agreed to accept the quotation for the supply and installation of themains-fed water heater. CllrManser noted that one of the hirers had offered to donate £5 0 to the cost of thewater heater. Itwas agreed to accept the quotation for the taps, if it included supply and installation. Itwas reported that one of the light switches was faulty – this would be fixed. Youth football BYFC had funding for the additional 2 0 ft container and were awaiting quotes for supply and tomove the original container back. Notice board Greenbarnes had provided details for replacing the two UV-protected polycarbonate glazing panels, as the transparency degrades over time. Cllr Manser had cleaned the glazing panels inside and out, so replacement could be delayed. Internet connection Cllr Gooch had discussed connection in the parish hall with various companies and her findings were considered. Itwas agreed that abasic servicewas needed.Members were in favour of BT or Plusnet and asked for clarification that the prices included line rental. BarmingNew s Delivery of the Barming News had become toomuch for one of the volunteers. Newarrangements were agreed for covering the affected roads. Remembrance Cllr Gooch askedmembers if asmallwreath on theWayside Cross would be agood way tomark the


centenary.Allmembers were in favour of Cllr Gooch looking into this. Bollards Cllr Gooch reported that bollards outside the parish hall,which had been knocked down by acar in July, had been paid for by the driver’s insurance as the number plate had been retrieved and given to Kent Highways. Crossing delay Cllr Doe had received complaints about the crossing delay on the Tonbridge Road. Cllr Gooch had received aphone call from Kent Highways apologising for the inconvenience and informing her that atemporary crossing had been installed further up the road. Odd jobsMembers were asked to think about and pass on details of any odd job people that the parish could call onwhen necessary. TreesA resident had complained about the trees on the Tonbridge Road as some of the branches were very close to achimney stack. Cllr Doewould quote for the removal of the branches as amaer of urgency. Fun dayA dogwalker had complained that the parish field had been taken over for aday for afun day. Itwas confirmed that this was an annual event for one of the hirers. Itwas suggested that in future, the event is advertised so that residents could join in if theywished and were alsomade aware that use of the field was restricted. Clothing bank There had been arequest for the installation of aclothing bank at the parish field.Members wished to decline due to safety implications and lack of space.

achurch in St Faith’s Street. A Peugeot 2 0 6 had been damaged in the

Road, Shepw ayNorth. A vehiclewas damaged on adriveway in

consent inNorthumberland Road. Three teenagers tried to steal adog from
