Business Focus Bearsted Dental Studio growing


THE husband and wife team who have been running the dental practice in Cavendish Way, Bearsted, for about a year now have big plans for its future.


Dentist Dr. Kartik Patel BDS, MJDF RCS (Eng) and manager Mrs Radha Patel MPharm, who have renamed the practice from The Wrigley Dental Practice to Bearsted Dental Studio, are widening the dental services on offer and also have plans for a major extension and improvement to the studio.

years to create a two-storey building and a rear extension to accommodate a further treatment room.


This enables them to expand the special- ised treatments in addition to traditional family dentistry and offer enhanced access for disabled patients. Kartik graduated from Barts & The London in 2008 with Distinction, then started his career in Essex treating nervous adults and children with special needs. Since then he has gone on to gain extensive postgraduate qualifications with the Royal College of Surgeons and in cosmetic dentistry. His ability to enhance smiles through orthodon- tic straightening, teeth whitening and a wide range of cosmetic treatments is increasingly catering to patients needs. Radha (MPharm), the practice manager,


became a fully-qualified pharmacist in 2013. The couple, who now live in Maidstone, have a two-year-old daughter Shaanti. Radha said: “Our aim is to provide quality care in a welcoming, relaxed and state-of-the-art environment, with a focus on prevention. The improvements mean we will provide an even wider range of services and specialist care to all of our patients. Our team are all on hand during your visit, making it a pleasant one. We look forward to welcoming new & existing patients."
