L I V E 2 4 -SE V EN KAT SHAYLER SOCIAL MEDIA QUEEN

I looked out of the window this morning and the grey drizzle slid down the glass, the leaves that are already fed up of trying desperately to cling on to branches are now spinning down to the ground. That said, I'm now on a mission to welcome autumn with open arms and embrace it.

So here are some things I think are simply wonderful about autumn.

1. The television! If you aren’t caught up in The Bodyguard, Killing Eve or Made in Chelsea (I am possibly a little old for this one, I admit) then you must have been living in a cave. Such a simple joy to snuggle on the sofa with a bar of chocolate and the latest favourite episode on TV.

2. The Cheltenham Literature Festival. Even though I missed out on Attenborough tickets by minutes, there is such an amazing array of talent being showcased this year. My wishlist includes : Sebastian Faulks, William Boyd and Gary Barlow (I will be a closet Take That Fan to the bitter end.)

3. Getting and keeping fit, my paddle board mission of the summer continues! I've also discovered something called 'Reformer Pilates' in Montpellier, Cheltenham. I've only had one session on what's best described as a crazy machine that helps support you whilst you exercise, I'm already completely converted. The hour session was so much fun and I could barely walk afterwards..usually a good sign!

4. It is shaping up to be a crazy October full of social media workshops and 1-1 coaching across the South West and London, so I need some pampering in a big way. This will mainly involve being massaged and treating myself to some fabulous new Alexa jeans from Bodega Womenswear in Cheltenham. I think the new term for spoiling oneself is ‘self-care’ - whatever it’s called, I will be making sure my autumn is full of it!

See you next month!
