The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced the list of 62 Division III golfers on Wednesday as part of a new record number of student-athletes earning All-America Scholar honors.

at the collegiate level, participate in 50% of his team’s competitive rounds, and have a stroke average under 79.0. He must also maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 while being of high moral character and in good standing at his college or university.

His junior campaign included a career-low round of 71 at the Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate, where he finished 9-over par. Five of his eight spring rounds were carded under 80 and he lowered his season scoring average to a career-best 77.3.
Earning All-Conference honors
for the first time, Funkhouser picked up second team All-CAC recognition with a 12th-place finish at the CAC Championships. Over the course of the season, he finished with a pair of top 20 efforts in eight
