Just a few miles outside of Lichfield, conveniently located on the A38 in Swinfen, you'll find a family-run shopping village that is a destination in its own rights.
Some 25 years ago, Lesley and Simon moved to the farm and started to sell their own potatoes and free range eggs as well as dried flower arrangements, blue and white china and country fabrics... the start of a very special. Today, the village plays host to a fabulous selection of individual boutiques and restaurants that are very much worth exploring, park up - there's ample free parking and prepare to take your time.
The shops and restaurants open at 10am, this gives Simon and Lesley time to sweep paths, water the flower borders and plants and ensure everything is tidy for their valued visitors. The shopkeepers also create a welcoming environment with many hosting interesting workshops or demonstrations added to by that friendly and attentive service that smaller shops offer so well. From beautiful jewellery to gorgeous furniture for the home, handpicked clothes and accessories to delicious restaurants, there's something for everyone.
