Do not be afraid to 'Press the Easy Button'

Editorial

pennies to save money can cause extra and unnecessary stress. Saving time by pressing the “easy button” can help relieve stress. Apps like Uber and Lyſt take the hassle out of going to large events like concerts and sporting events. One only has to find a safe place to park, far enough from the venue as to not get tied up in traffic but close enough that the app will not charge an arm and a leg to drive you there. Park and Ride lots are also convenient in those situations. Te “easy button” does not have to be a digital solution. Do not be afraid to “press the easy

BY ANGELA JONES Back when I used to watch

television, there was a commercial that mentioned pressing the “easy button.” Because I would always turn down the volume on the T.V. during commercials, I did not catch what product or service was being promoted. I do however, like the premise of making things easy on one's self whenever possible. I “press the easy button” every chance I get. Rather than driving to a

store, burning gas, polluting the environment, searching for parking and fighting crowds of people, I will order things online whenever I can. It is even possible to order groceries and get them delivered to you for free within two hours with an Amazon Prime subscription in certain areas. Some people have more time

than they have money, while others have more money than they have time. When the latter is the case, pinching

button” at dinner time. While nothing beats a home cooked meal, sometime that is just not feasible. Many families have very busy schedules during the week. Aſter helping children with homework, driving them to sporting practice or preparing for a presentation at work, not everyone has the time or energy to prepare a nutritious meal. Apps like Grubhub and UberEats

make ordering meals to be delivered a simple task. First look for coupons online. RetailMeNot usually has a good selection of discounts at various establishments. Once you have a coupon code, Google the desired app on your computer or phone or just Google “food delivery apps.” Oſten delivery is free or as inexpensive as $1. Google is the ultimate “easy

button.” From maps to airline reservations, Google makes life so much easier. Te next time you feel overwhelmed, press every “easy button” that you have at your disposal. Use the extra time you save to simply relax.
