The DJW School of Acting was founded by local actor Daniel-John Williams who has starred in numerous theatre, television and film roles since graduating from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in 2008. Daniel and his partner Emma Louise Teasdale also run an actors agency alongside the school which is based at Acklam Hall, Middlesbrough. Daniel has travelled the world in attendance of red carpet events, film premiers, BAFTA parties, private press junkets and has a wealth of inside industry knowledge due to his involvement with castings in theatre, television and film. The DJW School of Acting was born in 2015 and has been awarded GOLD for excellent services in training and representation of actors that programme with them by QA International. The school runs weekly classes and is open to anyone who has a passion for theatre, television and film acting. The aim is to bring genuine opportunities to the region and discover talent in hard to reach places and

Taekwondo in Middlesbrough!
White Tiger Allstars Taekwondo and White Tiger fight club are based in Middlesbrough and are run by a family who have been in the martial arts game all their lives. Graham Harbisher 7th Dan Master Black belt, Steven Harbisher 7th Dan Master Black belt and other members of the family as well as many other black belt martial artists make up this club. Taekwondo is an Olympic sport and you may have watched this on TV, but it is so much more than this. It is a brilliant self
defence system using almost every part of the body to defend yourself. Learn to defend against weapons, open hand or multiple attackers, or even go on to fight for your country as Steven has done. Everybody is welcome and everybody can do this Korean martial art. Raise your fitness levels and become much more confident in yourself. Fight Club takes this to the next level, asking questions of what could happen on the street and how to use the techniques to stay safe in any circumstance.
