B-Tech AV Mounts have bol- stered their sales team fur- ther with the appointment of well-known industry stalwart, Ralph Zaraiah. Ralph, who has a wealth of experience having held senior positions at a vari- ety of large AV and IT compa- nies such as Mitsubishi, Scan Source Imago, Netcom and most recently as Head of Sales for Mode-AL, joins B-Tech in a Key Account Manager role with the remit of developing new business, directly as well as through existing distribution and reseller channels. Ralph said: “As an outsider, the growth of B-Tech in recent years has been very clear to see, so I am thrilled to be able to join a team that has accom- plished so much, and I see this as a hugely exciting opportuni- ty. Having familiarised myself with the excellent range of

solutions and meeting all of the team, I’m already seeing the qualities that led to their recent Manufacturer of the Year award and why B-Tech products are so often recommended.” With direct view LED sales continuing to accelerate, Ralph joins B-Tech at an exciting time, as new mounting chal- lenges and opportunities are presenting themselves across a variety of market verticals. He added: “With broad in- dustry experience in the field of mounting and in particular LED, I believe my own pas- sion, combined with B-Tech’s well-established design ethos and customer values, puts us in an ideal position to offer the best possible products and ser- vice to the existing customer base as well as the new ones that I’m sure will soon come aboard.”

Anna Valley's Integration de- partment is growing from strength to strength. The com- pany brought Nick Shaw on board as the Director of the AV Integration department in 2015, then tripled the size of the department during 2016 with a number of senior staff hires. It is now expanding again with new appointments that will add depth to the team for project delivery in 2018. While previous recruitment drives in 2015 and 2016 cantered around building a senior man- agement team to develop the integration business unit, the company is now focussed on growing the technician base to deliver permanent install proj- ects commissioned for 2018 and beyond. Tom Macleod has been con- tracted to fill the role of local Site Manager for a major in- stallation the company will be completing at a large exhibition and event space in Birming- ham from January 2018 to August 2019. Macleod will be working alongside Brad Hirst who has been promoted from

within the Anna Valley team to the position of commissioning lead on the same project. Paul Evans brings over 14 years’ ex- perience in AV across a range of sectors, including education and retail, to his new position as Lead Engineer at Anna Valley while the new Senior Techni- cian, Lloyd Wragg has installed AV in everything from prisons to classrooms and hospitals. These appointments create levels

three of competency

within the Anna Valley Inte- gration team (senior, lead and junior staff) which will improve the team’s ability to deliver multiple projects concurrent- ly against almost any project specification. “We’ve worked hard to establish a name and reputation for Anna Valley in the

integration market over

the last few years and we’ve won some exciting contracts for 2018 and beyond,” said Anna Valley Integration Direc- tor, Nick Shaw. “The new team members will help us to deliv- er against these commitments and continue to grow our pres- ence in this sector.”
