TexasBalletTheater TexasBalletTheater Schools SummerCamps&Intensives June 25-July 14 TexasBallet Theater School’s Summer Intensive emphasizes technique, artistic expression andmusicality necessary to preparewell-rounded, classically trained dancers for a company career. Students ages 12-21will experience fiveweeks of dedicated training on the campus of Texas ChristianUniversity in FortWorth, Texas. Daily classes are held in the newly renovated TCUSchool for Classical andContemporaryDance.Curriculumincludes ballet technique, pointework,men’s class, variations and jazz.Additional classes include pas de deux (by invitation only),modern, and Latin ballroom,with dance-related studies such as nutrition, injury pre- vention, career planning, and Pilates.Accepted studentsmay choose between our five-week program(June 25-July 27) and three-week program(June 25 – July 14). Five-week studentswill performin a showcase at the conclusion of the intensive, and three-week students may invite family and friends to observe classes on July 13-14. Limited space is available in the three-week program. Studentswho attend the Summer Intensivemay apply for the Professional Division of the TexasBallet Theater School.
