Memorial Services
A memorial service is traditionally held after a cremation or burial has taken place.
This type of service can be held at any time from a
few days after, up to or on the anniversary of death. The memorial service can be held in any location
ranging from a funeral chapel, church, family home outdoors, and place of significance or out on the water
The memorial service is held much like the
traditional funeral service without the loved one being present at the service. Many families request to have the cremated remains of their loved one placed in an urn and presented at the service. On
occasion the ashes can be interred in a memorial or scattered as part of the memorial service.
Memorial Plaques
A plaque placed in memorial for a loved one who has passed away is a tribute that celebrates their time on earth.
Newhaven Funerals staff can assist you in the
supply, design and wording for memorial plaques for placement at Eco Memorial Park or for placement at a sight significant to you.
