The successful candidate for the Senior Support Worker position will demonstrate the following:


Minimum qualification - NVQ Level 3 in Social Care, we may consider candidates having NVQ Level 2 in Social Care but with extensive and similar experience as a Senior Support Worker


Strong experience working as a Senior Support Worker in a similar setting with previous experience in the management and administration of medication


A sound understanding of the processes and practises applied to safeguard vulnerable adults;


Commitment to working within an equal opportunities environment; Excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication;


A working knowledge of the Fundamental Standards applied by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Working Pattern: an average of 37.75 hours per week.

RECRUITMENT ADVERT


MTS Cleansing Services Limited, one of the largest liquid waste management companies in the South, is looking to recruit extra Class 1 and Class 2 LGV drivers to work at their depots in Ashford, Rochester and Snodland as Drainage Engineers.


Reporting to the Depot Managers, you will be responsible for the delivery of planned and reactive services to industrial, commercial and domestic customers, in strict accordance with statutory health and safety, and environmental procedures.


Duties will include the collection and disposal of controlled waste at registered waste reception sites, attending emergency call out situations and dealing with sewer blockage emergencies. We operate an emergency call out rota which includes weekend working and unsociable hours so applicants need to be flexible.


Operating mainly in the South East, you will be required to complete a 50 hour working week, any five days from seven. A competitive basic salary is offered, plus enhanced payments for overtime, nights out and being on call. You will also receive life insurance cover and be auto enrolled in a workplace pension after a qualifying period.


Ideal candidates must have held their licence for at least two years and be flexible in their approach to working unsocial hours. Previous experience in the drainage industry would be preferred but not essential as full training is provided.
