That, combined with the program’s diversity, makes it one of the best in the nation, she said. “The program also welcomes those with nontechnical degrees who are willing to work hard and provide them with a skillset to compete in the cyber job market,” Williams said. “To date, we have had great success with our graduates securing professional positions.” This recognition is one of many that the program hopes to earn in the coming years as it continues to grow, work with local partners and provide competitive training to students.

Teaching Our Youth the Code to Success

Lincoln Military Housing began a year-long partnership with Norfolk Public Schools to bring a “Hour of Code” to military youth grades K-5. This night was the start of a series produced by Lincoln Military Housing and Norfolk Public Schools.
“Hour of Code” is a
phenomenon sweeping the globe with tens of millions of students participating in the program in over180 countries. During these nights of learning and fun, kids will work in parent-child teams to complete
