Campsite integrates with Signagelive

Campsite has integrated with Signagelive to provide new rev- enue opportunities for Digital Out-of-Home network owners and operators. This integration means that Signagelive’s cli- ents can now connect to buyers through their access to Camp- site’s supply-side platform (SSP).

This represents the

first full integration of a large- scale CMS with an established buying platform specialising in

digital out-of-home media available in Canada. By enabling the integration

with Campsite, Signagelive can now offer its clients the option of tapping into a new revenue stream through programmatic sales. The media sellers decide how much advertising time they wish to ‘offer up’ to Campsite and control the type of content they wish to allow to be shown on their displays. This option is available to all Signagelive cli-

ents starting with Canada and will roll out to other markets throughout 2018 and beyond. Launched in 2016, Camp-

site’s products include an SSP for sellers, an exchange mar- ketplace, and a DSP for buyers. With over 8000 digital screens across an array of suppliers and environments already connect- ed, Campsite has the largest selection of DOOH in a single platform in Canada.

Buyers using the DSP can build campaigns using various targeting tools, including mo- bile audience data. These au- dience insights are also shared with Signagelive clients, the media sellers, within the Camp- site SSP. The first Signagelive client launching with Campsite is IDS Canada who are making their digital poster network in doctor’s office waiting rooms available to Campsite buyers.

Datapath’s application sharing enhanced

Datapath added three new features to its innovative Quant collaborative applica- tion sharing software. Quant is described as ideal for general business

collaboration where

project teams can work on the same document in real-time from different locations. Operation-critical control rooms benefit from using Quant because it allows users on the same network to view physical sources connected to a video wall controller, wherever they are. This gives them access to

up-to-the-second informa- tion leading to better-informed

cantly to Quant’s usability and functionality. • Chat Function Allows users to message one another about the application window shared and enables ongoing dialogue between users.

• Meeting Function Allows a user to lock either their own desktop or a Quant controlled video wall to a selected set of users. In a video wall scenario, a meeting organiser can deter- mine who can share to the wall for instant viewing and avoid accidental sharing from others. This also increases security within meetings for shared vid-

Seenspire available from Signagelive

Seenspire launches the first ever pay- per-screen pricing plan for the digital signage industry, providing Signage- live partners and customers unlimited access to an expansive, cloud-based content library of 250+ content feeds via the Signagelive Marketplace. The new plan provides flexible access to Seenspire’s Infotainment and So- cial Media services – with beautifully displayed digital signage powered by a continually charged, multi-sourced content. Seenspire’s pay-per-screen plan is inspired by wider industry trends into subscription-based ser- vices, to satisfy the content consump- tion habits of modern audiences. It enables integrators and marketers to automate up to 80% of their content playlists.

Samuel Mekonen, Director of Seen- spire, explains: “Our customers are battling

for audience’s attention.

Access to automated, fresh digital signage content is essential. This is automated content done in a brand-

Powered ceiling speakers get Bluetooth

Vision’s 2 x 30w power loud- speakers have just received a Bluetooth upgrade. The new ad- vanced Bluetooth chipset can be re-named, and the pin can be set via PC software. The speakers can automatical- ly switch to the Bluetooth input when they pair. If the phone rings during a presentation Bluetooth reverts to the hand- set during the call. And there is no limit to the number of devic- es it can pair with; it has eight memory slots so the latest new device to connect replaces the oldest record.

The CS-1800P is a master-slave powered speaker set with one wired input, a Bluetooth input, a remote control, and RS-232 control. Many pairs can be daisy-chained to server larger rooms. It features optional auto standby, and when power is cy- cled it automatically returns to the same input and level. The new model is shipping now at a price of SSP GBP 269/ EUR 339 / USD 529 including a lifetime warranty.

Datapath Product Manager, Matthew Tibbitt, said: “Quant offers something truly unique to the collaboration market- place - the ability to manage and share applications from a central source and view on a single end-point or a video wall. The scope it brings to control rooms is of huge bene- fit to organisations of all sizes." Quant’s capabilities also al- low users to view and share application windows, as well as interact and make changes to original source files, even if the third party does not have the application software installed. As this is all done on a peer-to- peer network, there is no load or potentially sensitive traffic on IT department servers. The three features; Chat, Meeting and Quant Curtain enhancements all add signifi-

Sapphire has launched a new version of the STRV102D and STRV102L AV cabinets, with front and rear access. This was in response to feedback from customers, the enhancements make it easier to access the rear of products stored in the cabinet, facilitating quicker and easier in- stallation. There are rack mount- sas optional extras for these units.

• Quant Curtain has updated features to allow an easier and smoother navigation experi- ence. A button in the curtain enables users to add or remove shared desktops quickly. A Fa- vourites option enables priori- tising the users most frequently interacted with, so that their desktops appear in the naviga- tion curtain automatically. Matthew Tibbitt added: “These new features will great- ly enhance the user experience of Quant as well as adding to the software’s ease of use and security. We are constantly working on ways to improve our products and our

new way, with a pay-per-screen, not pay-per-feed, plan that helps our cli- ents manage costs for their growing signage network – whether for five or 500 screens.” Seenspire’s content feeds – which range from news and weather to sports and lifestyle – are licensed from the world’s leading Media partners, includ- ing Reuters, AFP and Sky news Arabia. Seenspire also draws upon indepen- dent content creators and data provid- ers to add variety – combining hyperlo- cal content (news, weather, etc.) with agency-grade visual presentations. The new pricing model is a monthly cost of $27 per screen, billed annual- ly, which decreases as the number of screens increases. For example, at 50 screens, the per-screen subscription price is reduced to $19 per screen. Seenspire’s cloud-based platform delivers Infotainment content in HTML5 format and is compatible Signagelive supported players and SoC Displays.
