WINING & DINING - THE FISH HOTEL

Over the course of the next six months, The Fish will add a number of

quirky accommodation options to its existing collection. Kicking off with the six-bedroom, family-friendly Farmhouse, this former private home styled by owner and design director Nette Reynolds is now available for exclusive use, and is just the ticket for groups of up to 15 guests. Come the Springtime, ten new bedrooms will be added to the Coach House, an original coaching inn with views over the Vale of Evesham. Perfect for couples and families, there are three unique room types, of which two have private terraces overlooking the downs. The fresh, calming interiors have been designed by Trevillion and will combine bespoke Scandi features with traditional Cotswolds woven willow and original stonework. Three new treehouses will follow in May with space for up to four guests, ideal for families or friends looking to share. These spectacular arboreal retreats, designed by interior designer Hannah Lohan, will embody all the pleasures of childhood adventures with a handful of grown-up perks including en-suite bathrooms and underfloor heating.

Next, five new luxury Hideaway Huts will join the collection, embodying the youthful and adventurous ethos for which The Fish is now known. With interiors designed by Blackdown Shepherd Huts and distinguished set decorator, Marina Morris, each hut will have its own distinctive feel inspired by nature and botanicals. Bespoke Tom Raffield lights and tailor-made William Holland baths will sit against a backdrop of locally designed fabrics and wallpapers printed in the Cotswolds.

In the main Lodge, guests will be greeted by an entirely new-look. To the right, a new boot room designed in conjunction withThe Original Muck Boot Company will provide guests with boots for loan, maps for the area and walking equipment. Refreshed interiors across the rest of the hotel including updated bathrooms, some featuring roll top baths and bespoke tiling will also be introduced. To time with the re-opening, the hotel will be launching a number of additional family-friendly features. A screening room with capacity for up to 15 people showing a range of films, a soon-to-launch ‘film and supper’ club for both Fish residents and locals to enjoy will run monthly, kicking off in May. Meanwhile an eight-obstacle dog agility course and kids play zone created using recycled wood from across the estate will keep little ones and furry friends amused. Once complete, the new look Fish is set to provide stylish travellers with a much-needed natural antidote to the hustle and bustle of everyday life, bestowing accessible luxury with uncompromised style.
