Public Notice Goods Vehicle Operator’s Licence
Gary Phare trading as GP Removals of 10 Birling Park Estate, West Malling, Kent ME19 5JD is applying to change an existing licence as follows to add an operating centre to keep three goods vehicles at DHL, Barming Depot, Hermitage Lane, Aylesford, Kent ME20 7PX.
Owners or occupiers of land (including buildings) near the operating centre(s) who believe that their use or enjoyment of that land would be affected, should make written representations to the Traffic Commissioner at Hillcrest House, 386 Harehills Lane, Leeds, LS9 6NF, stating their reasons, within 21 days of this notice.
Representors must at the same time send a copy of their representations to the applicant at the address given at the top of this notice. A guide to Making Representations is available from the Traffic Commissioner’s office.
Maidstone Borough Council Report of Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman
The Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman has issued a report following its investigation of a complaint against Maidstone Borough Council. The complaint was about a housing matter.
The Ombudsman found that there had been fault on the part of the Council, and this had caused injustice to the complainant. The Council must now consider the report and tell the Ombudsman within three months (or such longer period as the Ombudsman may agree) what it proposes to do. Copies of the report will be available for public inspection during normal office hours at the Maidstone Link for three weeks starting on 28 November 2017. Anyone is entitled to take copies of the report or extracts from it. Copies will be supplied at a reasonable charge.
