Jim Abney, 73, Fort Worth,


died November 3 after a brief illness. Born in NM, he had worked for AQHA and the FWSSR and had managed the exhibit hall during the NCHA’s major shows at Will Rogers Memorial Center. He also served as bid spotter for all the NCHA horse sales.


Patricia Walliser, 70, Sapulpa,


OK, died November 6 after a brief illness. She dearly loved horses and her horse show family, and was a member of OK Pinto Horse Assoc.


Don Taylor, 89, Minco, OK,


died November 9 in an automobile accident. The highly-respected horseman had NCHA earnings in excess of $113K. w
